We're Off

The house is as ready as it is going to be for Megan's family plus mother-in-law from Honduras.  I put the winter fuzzy sheets and down duvet on our bed in hopes that she will be warm enough.  It can get pretty hot in our upstairs bedroom in the summer - it will be interesting to see if she thinks so!

Grave cleaning materials have been packed as part of the fun on our circumnavigation of England will be visiting relatives, both alive and dead.

Ella knows something is a miss but I'm sure she will be pleased to see everyone appear tonight. Elaborate instructions have been itemized but I'm sure we've left something out.

We fly to Gatwick today then immediately travel by train to France. We have packed old linens for our first week accommodation - an apartment in Lille. At the end we'll dump the sheets and pillow cases. Lille was the site of the first riots of the European Cup Football competition.  We have no weapons with us. We'll just rely on the "tried and true" we are old and harmless.
